I couldn't let this day end without writing about today's.....um.....events:
My friend Lisa, who I love, brought her yellow lab Jackson over to play with Sam. Sam's the black lab. He's ours. He's 8 1/2 months old. And clearly, he has no reservations about showing his true feelings at any time.
I wish I could have gotten a picture of what happened next...Jackson looking at Lisa and I, sitting on the deck sipping our tea, while Sam side humped his head. Bonk, bonk, bonk, bonk....his head shaking side to side with eyes pleading for help, while Sam humped away, devil may care. Lisa and I laughed SO hard....you know that laugh where no sound comes out, and you can't breathe? That kind of laugh. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
Sam and Jackson continued their exploration of new found love for each other throughout their visit...in some cultures I think Lisa and I would owe each other goats.
Did I mention that Sam will be trained to be a service dog for TJ? Looks like Jackson's the one who got serviced.
Yes, I really did just say that.

Hello....is this thing on?
So I don't have a job. I DID have a job, but for the sake of confidentiality can say nothing more about it. Now THAT sounds mysterious, doesn't it? Well, maybe I can say something about it....I worked in a public elementary school as a 1 on 1, which I am really good at, but with a kid who I wasn't a good fit for. So I left. I left yesterday. And a lot of my facebook friends said I should write a blog, since my FB posts are funny blah blah blah, so here I am.
Here's a little bit about me:
I live in Vermont, in Essex Junction. I call it "The EJ". Sounds more exciting that way.
I am married to Sean, who is a dreamboat. My friend Jennie and I voted on it yesterday and legally declared that if there was dreamboat supreme status, he'd get it. But there isn't. Plus, it may really go to his head if there was.
I have 2 wonderful boys - TJ is almost 12 and has high functioning autism. Believe me, you'll hear a lot about that. Peter is 10 and does not have any autism. You'll hear a lot about that too.
I have a sister who is incredible. She is the smartest person in the world (it's been proven) and is hilarious to boot. Good thing she's not a supermodel or we'd have to hate her.
Let's see...what else? Oh - I love shoes. AND - I'm really bummed that Guiding Light got canceled.
How's that for a start? We'll see where this goes...
